Frequently Asked Questions

Go to Settings and click "Connect Twitch Account". If you signed up with email, you can link your Twitch account from the same page. StreamForge uses your Twitch connection to track channel activity like subs, bits, and chat messages.
Navigate to any active event and click the "Overlay" tab to find your OBS browser source URLs. Each overlay has a unique URL with your event ID. Add it as a Browser Source in OBS with a transparent background.
StreamForge offers Free, Starter ($4.99/mo), and Pro ($9.99/mo) tiers. Free includes basic tracking for up to 100 viewers. Starter unlocks unlimited viewers, events, overlays, and Discord integration. Pro adds API access, unlimited team members, and priority support.
Owners and admins can invite team members from the Team page. Invites are sent via email with a unique link. Team members can be assigned roles (admin, moderator, viewer) that control their access level within your dashboard.
StreamForge uses Supabase with Row Level Security ensuring tenant isolation. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We only store what is necessary for the service. You can request a full data export or deletion from Settings > Privacy, or submit a "Data Access Request" support ticket from the Support page.
Go to Settings > Billing and click "Manage Subscription". You can cancel anytime — your Starter or Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Make sure your Twitch account is connected and EventSub webhooks are active (check Settings). Data is tracked in real-time from Twitch events — it may take a few minutes for new activity to appear after initial setup.
You can create an account with email, but most features (leaderboards, points, VIP rules) require a Twitch connection to receive viewer data. You can connect Twitch at any time from Settings.
From the Leaderboard page, click the "Add Interaction" button to manually add interactions for any viewer (subs, bits, tips, chat messages, etc.). For bulk imports, use the CSV Import feature — download a template for your interaction type, fill it in, and upload (max 500 rows). All manual and imported data is tagged with its source for easy auditing.
StreamForge tracks tips and donations as a first-class stat. You can add tips manually or via CSV import, and configure how many points each dollar is worth in Settings > Points. Tips appear as a dedicated column in the leaderboard with your configured currency symbol.
Recaps are automatic "Twitch Wrapped" style summaries of your community engagement. Monthly recaps are generated on the 1st of each month and yearly recaps on January 2nd. They include superlatives (Most Dedicated, Chatty Kathy, etc.), trend analysis, and AI-generated narrative. Free users get yearly recaps; Starter users get monthly and yearly.
Yes! Each recap has a "Share" button that generates a public link. Anyone with the link can view the recap without logging in. The shared page includes social meta tags for great previews when shared on Twitter/X and Discord.
If you have Discord connected (Starter+), you can configure automatic leaderboard and recap posts. Go to Settings > Discord and enable "Auto-post Leaderboard" or "Auto-post Recaps". Choose a channel and schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). You can customize the message template with variables like {Top1Name} and @mentions for linked viewers.
Offline watch time tracks viewers present in your Twitch chat even when you're not live. This is a Starter+ feature — enable it in Settings under the Watch Time section. Offline watch time is tracked separately from online watch time — they are two independent stats shown in different columns on the leaderboard.
Disabling a point rule sets its point contribution to zero, but the underlying activity (e.g., messages, watch time, bits) is still tracked and displayed on the leaderboard. Only the Total Points column is affected. If you later re-enable a rule and click Recalculate, all historical data is retroactively recalculated — there is no time limit on how far back it goes.
You can create a support ticket right from this page using the contact form below, or from the Support page in your dashboard. Authenticated users can track ticket status, view conversation history, and reply to responses from the support team.
Submit a support ticket with the "Data Access Request" category. We'll prepare a secure data export within 48 hours.
